Biography

Mr. Larry Grant Salter, age 60, of Thomaston, died March 7, 2010.

Mr. Salter was born on January 30, 1950, in Upson County, son of the late U. Bert and Mary Salter. He was retired from B. F. Goodrich and a member of Silvertown Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Royal Salter.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters in law, Gene and Gloria Salter, Jerry and Geraldine Salter; sister and brother in law, Ann and Glenn Wilder; sisters in law, Cece and Brooks Cagle, Jackie Royal.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 11:00 AM, in the Coggins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Crystal Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart or Diabetes Associations.
