Mr. Allen Clifford Railey Jr. age 85 of Thomaston Ga, died Wednesday July 3, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Railey was born on September 5, 1938, in Ellaville, Georgia, to the late Allen Clifford Railey Sr., and the late Louise Eubanks Railey.  He worked as a weaver at the Martha Mills for forty plus years and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Rogers Railey, daughters, Wanda Watts, Linda Coggins, brothers, Jessie and Edward Railey, sisters, Gerladine Parks, June Allen, Francis Stewart, Juanita Wade, and Helen Turner.

Survivors include his daughters, Terri Railey of Thomaston, Kelli Laughter of Thomaston, Sharon Railey of Thomaston, Angelia (Domingo) Paiz of Valdosta, son Charles Railey of Thomaston, 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
