Anthony "Tony' Moore, 75, of Holland, Michigan, formerly of Thomaston, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Resthaven-Maple Woods.

Tony was born November 12, 1948, in Thomaston, Georgia, to Andrew & Myrtis (Thompson) Moore.  He attended Robert E. Lee and later started his textile career at Thomaston Mills as a mechanic.  Tony ended up moving to West Michigan to be nearer to family in 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Joel Brooks.  Tony was always fun to hang out with and loved to watch his Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs along with some friendly sports banter.  Tony also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Sheri (Todd) Holstege of Zeeland, Michigan, his sisters: Barbara Brooks of Thomaston, GA, Edith (Herchel) Potts of Barnesville, GA; his good friend Virginia Raybon of Thomaston, GA, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A memorial service in Tony's honor will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Coggin's Funeral Home, 321 Hannahs Mill Rd., Thomaston, GA 30286.  Memorial contributions may be made to Resthaven.
