Mrs. Athena Karen Turner, age 64 of Yatesville, died Saturday, March 22, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Turner was born on February 5, 1961, in Albertville, Alabama, to the late Gene Patterson, and Mary Frances Millwood Patterson.  She retired as an LPN.  In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Patterson.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Frances Patterson, daughter, Samantha Turner of Thomaston, sons, Chris (Sara Grace) Turner of Molena, Nick Turner of Newnan, sister, Andrea Patterson of Sandy Springs, and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Turner was cremated, and memorial services will be announced at a later date.
