Mrs. Barbara Ann Parrott age 89 of Thomaston, died Friday, February 20, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Parrott was born on April 8, 1936, in Upson County, Georgia to the late Leland Merrill Elliott and the late Bobbie Lee Holland.  She retired from the William Carter Company where she worked in the sewing room for 33 years and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marcelle Aldean Parrott, brothers, Billy Merrill Elliott, Jimmy Elliott, sisters, Linda Joyce Jenkins, Darlene Peugh, Carol Elliott, granddaughter Heidi McCorkle.

Survivors include her daughters, Jan McCorkle of Grovetown, Jayna Sinns of Thomaston, sons, Phil Parrott of the Philippines, Jeffery "Scodean" Parrott of Thomaston, Jason "Bo" Parrott of Calgary, Canada, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from Faith Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church.
