Mrs. Barbara Diane Weeks, age 76, of Fayetteville, Georgia, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Weeks was born on December 23, 1947, in Cedartown, Georgia, to the late Paul Witt and to the late Bessie Mae Sloman Witt.  She was a schoolteacher at Fayetteville Christian Academy and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Thomaston.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Claudia and Daulton Weeks, nephew Ted West.

Survivors include, Ray Weeks of Stockbridge, daughter, Mary Jo (Chip) Turner of Fayetteville, sons, Steve (Nancy) Weeks of Fayetteville, Rev. Jason (Jennifer) Weeks of Thomaston, Jimmy (Rachel) Weeks of Stockbridge, brother, Eddie (Deborah) Witt of Dalzell, South Carolina, sisters, Allona (Duane) West, of Fayetteville, Cindy (Grant) DeLaney of Brooks, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. from Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday March 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Camp Memorial Gardens.
