Mrs. Betty Jean Middlebrooks Adams age 79 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Thursday November 3, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Adams was born on August 30, 1943, in Douglasville, Georgia, to the late Henry Grady Middlebrooks and the late Sara Ella Tiller Wainwright.  She worked as a food vendor and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Milwood Adams, brother, Harris Middlebrooks, sister, Joanne Stephens, and grandchild, Sarah Burke.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam (Elvis) Padgett of Thomaston, Kayla (Joel) Burke of Thomaston, son, Steve (Rita) Adams of Thomaston, sister, Peggy Cleveland of Thomaston, grandchildren, Julie (Brian) Travis, Carly (Travis) Korink, Lindsey Adams, Justin Adams, Laura (Zach) Downing, great-grandchildren, Gage Hill, Keelei Olsen, Kendall Olsen, Kyndall Travis, Harper Downing, Soren Downing, Charlie Korink, lifelong friends, Donald (Diane) Birdsong, Barbara Deloach, and fourteen-year-old beloved pet, Buddy.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. from Glenwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
