Mrs. Betty Lou Milam age 86 of Thomaston Ga. died Tuesday September 21, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Milam was born on December 5, 1934 in Spokane, Washington, to the late William Fairfax, and to the late Mabel Ward Fairfax.  She was a housewife and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Rhett Milam, and son, Glenn Milam.

Survivors include her daughters, Rhetta (Tim) Peters of Warner Robins, Jamie (David) Banks of Thomaston, sons, Bobby (Gwen) Milam of Warner Robins, James Milam of Thomaston, sisters, Norma Peterson, Carol Silva, Pat Howard, Audrey Leighton, Fran Hudson, Shirley Fairfax all of Spokane, Washington, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service at Crystal Hill Cemetery.
