Mrs. Billie Joyce Pitts McKissick age 86 of Thomaston Ga, died Tuesday December 17, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. McKissick was born on December 30, 1937 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Russell Winford Pitts and the late Mamie Lee Parkerson Pitts. She worked for the William Carter Company as a Supervisor for many years. Mrs. McKissick was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene McKissick Sr., and son Dennis McKissick.

Survivors include her significant other Mr. Don Morris of Thomaston Ga, daughter Mrs. Karen (John) Welch of Thomaston Ga, son Mr. Gene (Jane) McKissick of Cumming Ga, daughter in law Mrs. Vickie McKissick of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Joan Roth of Winthrop Ma., grandchildren Stephen (Tori) McKissick, Nathan (Whitney) McKissick, Cory (Lori Anne) McKissick, Courtney (Heath) Eidson, Amiee (Will) Landers, Jordan McKissick, Kerra (Bryan) McAlum, step grandchildren Amiee (Isiah) Bell, Ayla Wells, 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday December 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
