Mr. Billy William Evans Sr. age 72 passed away Sunday February 20, 2022 at North Fulton Hospital.

Mr. Evans was born on March 26, 1949 in Williamson, Georgia, to the late Edgar Henry Evans, and the late Lula Mae Gibson Evans.  He worked in maintenance for the City of Milner.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Banin Evans, brother, David Evans, and sister, Runette Gordy.

Survivors include his daughter, Veronica (Michael) Oglesby of Thomaston, sons, Billy (Sherry) Evans Jr. of Thomaston, Brian Evans of Griffin, brothers, Mark (Christan) Evans of Barnesville, Ronnie (Judy) Evans of Meansville, Graylon (Rhonda) Evans of Thomaston, sisters, Margie Lewis of Meansville, Jackie Lewis of Thomaston, BettyJo (Bobby) Loudermilk of Tacoa, eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
