Mrs. Bonnie Lou Smith Jones, age 70 of Barnesville, died Monday, June 15, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Jones was born on June 29, 1955, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late John Smith and the late Betty Ann Bunn Wright.  She was a homemaker and worked at Aldora Mills and was a member of The Church of Christ in Barnesville.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Joy Grace Desh, and Angela Sample.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Lee Jones, of Barnesville, daughters, Michelle Lynn (Jason) Johnson, Jackie Rose (Brandon) Hall, sons, Billy John (Joyce) McKinley, Steven Lee (Melanie) Jones, sister, Donna (Bobby) Brantley, seventeen, grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
