Mr. Bruce A. Coppersmith Sr., age 79, of Thomaston, died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Coppersmith was born on August 11, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Anthony Coppersmith, and the late Rita Neiski Coppersmith.  He served his country in the US Navy during the Cold War.  He was a Park Ranger at Sprewell Bluff State Park.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Brian Coppersmith, Paul Coppersmith, Phil Coppersmith, and sister, Ruth Mary Coppersmith.

Survivors include, his wife, Linda Marks Coppersmith of Thomaston, daughters, Patti (Chief) Thomas of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, Tracy (Tony) Capocci of Grand Prairie, Texas, sons, Bruce (Dawn) Coppersmith Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bill Coppersmith of Thomaston, Ralph (Becky) Hohndorf of Greenfield, Wisconsin, brothers, Jay (Melissa) Coppersmith of Rineyville, Kentucky, Tom (Jerry) Coppersmith of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sister, Jean Herek of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Amanda, Alison, Cody, Jennifer, Matt, Joey, and great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Emerson, Elsie, Miggy, and Elliot.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
