Mrs. Burma Allison, age 77, of Meansville died on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Allison was born August 29, 1945, in LaGrange, to the late Luther Harrington and Anna Welch Phillips. She worked for Walmart as a stocker and Martha Mills for 15 years. She loved her children, grandchildren (whom she loved greatly), and gardening.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Tracey) Coe of The Rock, Connie (Marc) Dent of Montgomery AL, and Kristie "Kricket" (Rod) Pitts of Thomaston; sons, Shannon (Wanda) Allison of Jackson Lake, and Greg (Christy) Allison of Thomaston; brother, Ray (Annette) Harrington of Warm Springs; sisters, Myrtle (Carl) Duncan of Warm Springs, and Ann (David) Craven of Manchester; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Rayford Harrington, Danny Harrington, and Pete Williams; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Allison will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Mt. Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Warm Springs GA at 11:00 AM.
