Ms. Carey "Libby" Elizabeth Gaultney age 49, of Thomaston, died at her residence.

Ms. Gaultney was born on June 2, 1974, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Cary Edgar Gaultney, and the late Kaye Hobbs Gaultney. She graduated from R.E. Lee High School, and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mercer University.  Libby was a faithful and caring daughter, mother, and sister.  She spent the last few years caring for her parents.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Jackson Blackmon, boyfriend Richard "Ricky" Johnson, sisters, Kecia (Allen) Adams, Leisa (Raymond Valent) Epps, Penni (Mitchell) Webb, and Heather (Blake) Walker.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. from the main sanctuary at Northridge Church.
