Mrs. Carol Ogletree Barfield, age 63 of Barnesville, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Barfield was born on May 3, 1959, in Thomaston to the late Ralph Sims Ogletree and Remona Duncan Anderson.  She worked at Ace Cleaners in Forsyth for fourteen years and was of the Baptist Faith.  She is preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, Remona Anderson of Barnesville, daughter, Shannon Ann Barfield of Barnesville, sons, Stacy Lamon (Ashley Laura) Barfield of Thomaston, Terry Lee Ogletree of Barnesville, brother, Ralph Sims Ogletree Jr. of Barnesville, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
