Mrs. Mary Carolyn Hay Teal, age 75, of Yatesville, died Monday, May 16, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Teal was born on December 8, 1946, in Monroe County, to the late Golden J. Hay, and the late Mary Jewel Horne Hay.  She worked for the Thomaston Mills as a weaver.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Earnest Teal, and sister-in-law Holly Thomas.

Survivors include her brothers-in-law, Gary (Dedra) Teal of Sylvania, Franklin Lamar (Teresa) Teal of Thomaston, and grandchild, Sydney Knight.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday May 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
