Mr. Cecil Ivy Tyrone age 93, of Molena Ga, died Wednesday July 3, 2024, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Tyrone was born on January 25, 1931, in Vicksburg Ms., to the late Thomas Dewey Tyrone and the late Annie Maude Reid Tyrone. He worked for Nabisco for 37 years living in Greenville MS, Memphis Tn, and Atlanta Ga, until he retired and moved to Molena Ga, in 1995. Mr. Tyrone served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved his church and was an active member of Thomaston First Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Joan Tyrone of Molena Ga, children Mrs. Becky (Dave) Kimbel of Menominee Wi, Mr. John (Melanie) Tyrone of Jacksonville Fl, Mr. Thomas (Anita) Tyrone of Sharpsburg Ga, brother Mr. Robert Tyrone of Little Rock AR, 5 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from Thomaston First Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Thomaston First Methodist Church Social Hall on Tuesday July 9, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
