Mrs. Charlene Coker Patrick, age 81 of Thomaston, died Tuesday January 2, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Patrick was born on March 25, 1942, in Woodbury, Georgia, to the late Charles Russell Coker, and to the late Essie Waddell Coker.  She worked as a nurse at Providence Nursing Home and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Patrick, brother, Jack Coker, sister, Janice Marie Watson.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa (Ken) Smith of Griffin, Cindy (Dennis) Thrasher of Thomaston, sons, Tim Patrick of Thomaston, David Patrick of Thomaston, brother, Jerry Coker of Thomaston, sister, Linda Watson of Fayetteville, eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. from Coggins Funeral Home.
