Mrs. Charlene Worthy Raines, age 75, of Thomaston, died Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at New Hope Cemetery in Yatesville, GA.

Mrs. Raines was born October 30, 1948, in Fulton Co. GA to the late Cecil and Margaret Chisenhall Worthy. She is of the Baptist faith and retired from Alloway Stamping Company in the accounting department.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Raines was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Worthy.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Sollenberger (Chris McChargue) of Thomaston, son, Barry Raines (Marilyn) of Thomaston, brother, Johnny Worthy of Yatesville and a sister, Pat Briley (John) of Barnesville, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
