Mr. Winford Rolland "Chip" Richardson III, age 78 of Molena Ga, died Tuesday February 6, 2024, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Richardson was born on December 27, 1945, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Winford Rolland Richardson, and to the late Margaret O'Terry Maynard.  He served his country in the U.S. Marines and was wounded in the Vietnam War.  Chip worked as the General Manager at Southern Ford for 30 plus years.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Holly Mills Richardson of Thomaston, daughter, Ashlymae Richardson of Massachusetts, sons, Travis Rolland (Heather) Richardson of Winterville, Georgia, Jerry Jace Truett of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Larry Vance Maxon of Michigan, sister, Danni Jo Earl of Daytona Beach, Florida, and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. from Southern Ford of Thomaston.
