Mr. Robert Craig Short, age 52, of Thomaston, died Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his residence in Thomaston.

Craig was born on August 5, 1971, in Riverdale, Georgia to Bobby Wayne Short, and Sheila King Lentz.  He worked as a diesel mechanic at ABF Freight and was a lifelong member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.  He was an awesome guitar player, devoted husband, father, pawpaw and friend.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Dorothy Short, Joe and Vivian King.

Survivors include his parents, Bobby Short and Sheila Lentz, wife Holli Harris Short of Thomaston, daughters, Shadoe (Ryan Kelly) Dunnahoo of Thomaston, Lyndsey "Pooh Bear" (Bryan Barfield) Short of Thomaston, Sydney "Sissy Mac" Short of Thomaston, Jessica (Zack) Brown of Senoia, brother, David Fowler, sister, Dana Fowler, grandchildren, Raya Meyerschough, Maddox Brown, Kasen Coker, Bridger Kelly, Evelyn Short, and mother-in-law, Debra (Phil) Ellerbee.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.
