Mrs. Linda Diane Burkett Garner age 79 of Thomaston Ga, died Monday January 27, 2025, at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin Ga.

Mrs. Garner was born on November 24, 1945, in Thomaston, to the late Frank Calvin Burkett and the late Mary Frances Albritton Burkett.  She worked as a hostess at the Jameson Inn and was a member of Mountain Gap Pentecostal Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Garner Jr., daughter, Tracie McCoy, and brother, Ricky Allen Burkett.

Survivors include her sons, Mitch (Maria) Garner of Meansville, Robbie (Toye) Garner of Meansville, sister, Yvonne Williams of Thomaston, grandchildren, Tanner Daniel, Chelsea Adams, Conner Garner, great-grandchildren, Chloe Adams, and Truitt Adams.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from Mountain Gap Pentecostal Church.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Mountain Gap Pentecostal Church.
