Mr. Donald Lewis Helms age 88 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday February 5, 2022 at Heritage Inn in Barnesville Ga.

Mr. Helms was born on September 25, 1933 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Rufus Helms and the late Mildred Dickerson Watson. He worked as a contractor for many years and was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ramona Jeanette Barfield Helms, brother Bunk Helms and sister Doris Helms Perkins.

Survivors include his daughters Lisa (Jason) Massey of Chesapeake Va, Donna (Gary) Mathews of Roswell Ga, son Kim (Terry) Helms of Thomaston Ga, brothers Harry Helms of Thomaston Ga, Doyle (Marlene) Helms of Cochran Ga, sister Shirley Chambley of Chattanooga Tn, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Tuesday February 8, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
