Mrs. Doris "Polly" Foster, age 83, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at Brightmoor Nursing Center in Griffin.

Mrs. Foster was born May 18, 1938, in Thomaston to the late Paul Hanson Harrell and Adolph Wilson Harrell. She retired form Thomaston Mills as an Accountant.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Ray Foster; brothers, Buddy Harrell, Jimmy Harrell, Sammy Harrell, Chester Harrell; and sister, Viola "Snooky" Haygood. She is survived by her daughters, Paula-Ra Balser and April (Chad) McKissick both of Thomaston; son, Rob (Melissa) Foster of Thomaston; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) Hammonds, Chandler McKissick, Kaylee McKissick; and great-grandchild, Raylan Hammonds.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 11:30 AM in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Coggins Funeral Home.
