Mr. Douglas "Doug" William Johnston age 82 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Tuesday April 19, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Johnston was born on June 16, 1939, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Raymond Johnston and the late Joan Brandt Kohlmeyer.  He worked as a manager at Lanier Business Products and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brooke Hamlett, son-in-law, David Goins, and stepfather, Lou Kohlmeyer.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Fendryk Johnston of Thomaston, daughters, Lorie Goins of Molena, Cassie (Keith) Hamlett of Thomaston, son, Steven (Sherri) Johnston of Molena, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Antioch United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Antioch United Methodist Church.
