Mr. Edward Ray Ellington age 78 of Thomaston Ga, died Monday April 13, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Ellington was born on February 12, 1948, in Upson County, Georgia to the late George Milwood Ellington, and the late Gladys Runette Teal Ellington.  He served his country in the US Army and worked for Yellow Cab in Charleston, SC.  He was a member of First Assembly of God in Thomaston.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Nelda Smith

Survivors include his wife, Betty Goude Ellington, daughter, Rachel Leigh Ellington, son, Joseph Ellington, brothers, McKenzie Ellington, Roger Ellington, sister, Carol Rush, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services are being held by the family at a later time.
