Mr. Edward Lawrence Pitts age 84 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday April 10, 2025 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Pitts was born on December 1, 1940 in Taylor County Ga, to the late Cecil Pitts Sr., and the late Thelma Jarrell Pitts. He worked for Martha Mills as a Supervisor in the Card Room for 36 years. Mr. Pitts was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. He loved gardening, going to the lake, going to the beach, & loved tomatoes. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Emory Pitts.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Lavelle Hale Pitts of Thomaston Ga, daughters Mrs. Angie (David) Riggins of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Debra (Mike) Trinidad of Peachtree Corners Ga., sons Mr. Eddie (Kitty) Pitts of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Mike (Christi) Pitts of Thomaston Ga, brother Mr. Cecil Pitts Jr., of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Virginia Taunton of Thomaston Ga, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday April 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mountain View Baptist Church Chapel on Monday April 14, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
