Mrs. Ellenor "Joy" Presley Kent age 79 of Yatesville Ga, died Wednesday May 10, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Kent was born on September 8, 1943, in Fayetteville, Georgia, to the late R.J. Presley and the late Theatis Green Presley.  She worked at the Thomaston Mills for thirty plus years and was a member of New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Kent.

Survivors include her sister, Sara Shaffer of Lawrenceville, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Yatesville.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
