Mrs. Elsie Corene Stewart Voss age 89 of Thomaston Ga., died Sunday October 31, 2021 at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Voss was born on January 9, 1932, in Thomaston, to the late James A. Stewart, and to the late Nannie Mae Smoot. She worked as a Production Manager for the William Carter Company for many years until her retirement. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Fred Voss, sons Daniel Voss, Larry Voss, brothers Franklin Stewart, Bentley Stewart, sisters Wynelle Allen, Ruth Childree & Louise Melton.

Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Rose (Carey) Sweetalla of Fortson Ga., son Mr. Marshall (Connie) Voss of Thomaston Ga., sister Mrs. Martha (Tommy) Morrow of Athens Ga. 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday November 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Thursday November 4, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
