Mrs. Emily Douglas McDuffie age 86 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday June 24, 2023 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. McDuffie was born on February 24, 1937 in Mansfield Ga, to the late William Emmett Loyd and the late Emma Ophelia Cowan Loyd. She owned and operated Douglas Accounting Service for many years. Mrs. McDuffie was a member of Thomaston First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Buddy McDuffie of Thomaston Ga, daughters Kathy Douglas of Leesburg Fl, Debbie Douglas (Doug) Overton of San Antonio Tx, son Michael Douglas of Thomaston Ga, grandchildren Brent Sheppard, Robert Sheppard, Hannah Overton, Sarah Overton, Jay Overton.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Tuesday June 27, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.
