Mrs. Esther "Dotty" Dorothea Johnson, age 69, of Thomaston GA, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Johnson was born on July 6, 1952, in Meansville, to the late James Thrasher and Dale Turner Thrasher.  She worked in the sewing room at the William Carter Company, and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  In addition to her father; she is preceded in death by her husband, Reinder Johnson; Chad's beloved father, Cecil Nix; brothers, Billy Thrasher, Bubba Thrasher; and sister, Peggy Thrasher.

Survivors include her mother, Dale Thrasher of Thomaston; daughters, Rhonda Johnson of Thomaston and Ashton Montgomery of Thomaston; son, Chad Johnson of Thomaston; brother, Michael Joe (Linda) Thrasher of Griffin; sisters, Donna Davis of Port St. Lucie, FL and Angie (Mikey) Bowen of Thomaston; grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Tuisdii Trice, Carlea Foster, Gabby Johnson; and great-grandchild, Ruby Berube.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
