Mrs. Geneva Chasteen Spraggins, age 81, of Thomaston Ga, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Spraggins was born on June 23, 1940 in Thomaston Ga., to the late Albert Chasteen and the late Lucille Jimmerson McGouirk. She was formerly employed with the William Carter Company where she worked as a sewing machine operator for 30 years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Billy Spraggins, son Wayne Spraggins and brother Charlie McGouirk.

Survivors include her sons Joe Spraggins of Thomaston Ga., Timothy Spraggins of Atlanta Ga, daughter in law Ann Lavoie of Thomaston Ga, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the American Heart Association at 7272 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX 75231.
