Mrs. Geraldine Yancey Batchelor, age 78, of Thomaston, died, Tuesday, June 6, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Batchelor was born on March 9, 1944, in Talbot County, Georgia.  She worked in administration for the William Carter Company, and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her half sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Eugene Batchelor of Thomaston; son, William (Beth) Batchelor of Thomaston; brothers, Harold Yancey of Thomaston, and Butch Yancey of Talbot County; sister, Jimmy Ruth (Robert) Stout of Pike County; and grandson, Clayton Eugene Batchelor.

The family will have a private memorial service on their own at a later date.
