Mrs. Gladys Barker Wainwright age 88 of Thomaston Ga, died Sunday March 16, 2025, at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Wainwright was born on August 10, 1936, in Lamar County, Georgia, to the late Howard Vance Barker, and the late Mozell Deason Barker.  She retired after 20 years as a Nurses Aid.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bermis Wainwright, and son Timmie Wainwright.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah (Troy) Nixon of Thomaston, Katrina (Keith) Parham of Thomaston, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one, great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from Turners Chapel Cemetery in Butler.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Turner's Chapel Cemetery in Butler.
