Mrs. Glenda Hill Baggett, age 91, of Thomaston, died Thursday, April 17, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Baggett was born on December 29, 1933, in Upson County, Georgia, to the late Arthur Chapel Hill and the late Ethel Corine Tucker Hill.  She worked for Carter's and as a housewife.  She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Edward Baggett, brothers, Howard S. Hill, James D. Hill, son-in-law, John McCleskey, sisters, Virginia "Sister" Grubbs, Helen Phillpott, Jackie Bell, Annette Erenheim, and grandchild, Anthony Joseph Spillers.

Survivors include her daughters, Angie McCleskey, Debbie (Tony) Spillers, sons, Marc (Connie) Baggett, Clayton (Diane) Baggett, sister-in-law Ruth Greear, Fay Wollenzin, Gloria Williams, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, six great-great-children, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 1:00 p.m-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
