Mrs. Glenda Bell Dinkins age 77 of Thomaston Ga died Thursday May 2, 2024, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Dinkins was born on August 31, 1946, in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Johnny Jewell Bell and the late Annie Mae Traylor Bell.  She worked for the William Carter Company as an operator for 33 years and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Junior Bell, sisters, Virginia Taylor, Montez Coogler, and Betty Crews.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Dinkins of Thomaston, daughters, Sherry Renee Dinkins (Bill) George of Thomaston, Leslie Dinkins (Wade) Boyt of Thomaston, Lori (Lance Smith) Dinkins of Kissimmee, Florida, sisters, Doris Roberts of Jackson, Mildred Garrett of Thomaston, grandchildren, Brittany Allen, Caleb George, Tommy Daniel, Haley Riddick, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
