Glenda Sharp Morris, age 81, of Thomaston Georgia passed away at her daughter's home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 22, 1942, to the late James Sharp and the late Opal Parrott Sharp. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Morris.

Glenda was formerly employed with Thomaston Mills for 32 years. She was a godly woman who would silently pray for every person in the waiting room during her many visits to the cancer center. Simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Glenda.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, a well-manicured yard with beautiful flowers, and thrift shopping with the girls.

Survivors include her daughters and son in law, Cathy Parks and Terry Parks of Anniston Alabama and Misti Craven of Thomaston Georgia, 7 grandchildren, Calee (Kyle) Coleman, Chase Parks, Cole Parks, Christopher Craven, Savannah Craven, Reign Craven, Lilly Craven, and 2 great grandchildren, Cade Coleman and Lyla Kate Coleman.

Although Glenda faced many challenges with her health, she is finally at peace.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

There will be a graveside service at Upson Memorial Gardens on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM.  Family and friends are welcome to go by Coggins Funeral Home anytime until 11:00 AM on Saturday to share a moment with Glenda.
