Mrs. Gloria English, age 83 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday September 2, 2023 at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mrs. English was born on July 30, 1940 in Pike County Ga. to the late Andrew Jackson Hay and the late Annie Lou Rainey Hay. She was a weaver at Thomaston Mills.Mrs. English was a member of Mud Bridge Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Ezra English.

Survivors include her sons, Clyde (Lydia) Griffin of Snellville, Keith (Kristi) Griffin of Thomaston; brother, Jack Hay of Meansville; as well as three grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. English will be on Monday, September 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Mud Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Meansville Ga. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 4, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
