Mr. Harvey Richard Buchanan, age 52 of Newnan, died Monday, November 21, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mr. Buchanan was born on September 5, 1970, in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Harvey Lee Buchanan and the late Jean Harris.  He worked as a Commercial Lender and was a member of Harps Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Smith Buchanan of Newnan, daughter, Haley Buchanan of Newnan, son, Christopher Buchanan of Newnan, sister, Vangie C. Williams of Danielsville, Georgia, nephew, Caleb (Kendra) Williams, and great nephew, Luke Michael Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from Harps Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia.  Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Harps Crossing Baptist Church.
