Mr. Henry Avery Herring age 88 of Thomaston Ga, died Tuesday June 2, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Herring was born on February 26, 1938 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Thomas "Tommy" Herring and the late Mary Thelma Anthony Herring. He worked as a Superintendent of Reddick Construction Company for many years. Mr. Herring was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Herring and brother Fred Herring.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherri Lynn (Joseph) Herring Miller of Thomaston, son, Henry Scott (Tammie) Herring of Thomaston, grandchildren, Keith (Tara), Katie (Jeremy) , Elizabeth,  great grandchildren, Hallie Kate , Alexander , Kendall , Tripp, Nellie, Ollie.

Graveside Services will be he held on Sunday June 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. from Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
