Mrs. Ida Joyce Stephens, age 84 of Thomaston, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Stephens was born on August 30, 1941 in Upson County, Georgia to the late Clarence Arthur Stephens, and the late Annie Virgina Young Stephens.  She served her country in the US. Marine Corp, retired as an LPN from South Fulton Hospital and Upson Regional Medical Center and was of the Baptist Faith.  Mrs. Ida loved to travel and her dog Rosie with all her heart.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, Randy Stephens of North Georgia, nephew Bobby (Diane) Bannister of Yatesville, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held, Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from Emory's Chapel Cemetery.
