Mrs. Jacquelyn Presley Roberts, age 83, of Huntersville, North Carolina, formerly of Thomaston, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Sunny Grove Assisted Living.

Mrs. Roberts was born on July 17, 1939, in Thomaston, to the late John Googe Presley, and the late Mary Louise Legg Presley.  She worked for the William Carter Company as a Personnel Manager, and was a member of Huntersville United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Roberts Jr., and sisters, Ann Gatlin and Martha Kate Presley.

Survivors include her sons, Mark (Lee Ann) Thompson, Paul (Tamara) Thompson, sister, Gail (Pete) Dillard, five grandchildren, Theresa (Marcus) Snead, John (Ashley) Thompson, Caroline (Brian) Cox, Elizabeth (Chase) Mitchell, Mary Katherine (Zachary) Ledford and nine great-grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Kinley Smith, Saylor Kate Snead, McKenna Rose Thompson, Wilkes Thompson, Andrew (Andy) Cox, Lydia Mitchell, William Thompson Ledford, Charles (Charlie) Ledford,

Memorial  services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Thomaston.  The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Thomaston.  Memorial services will also be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Huntersville, North Carolina, at 2:00 p.m. from  Huntersville United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow the service.
