Mr. James Gary Bridges age 64 of Thomaston Ga., died Sunday September 19, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Bridges was born on January 23, 1957 in Upson County, to the late James Edgar Bridges and to the late Dorothy Crook Bridges.  He worked at the Thomaston Mills and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Faye McCharge Bridges, and brother, Jimmy Howard Bridges.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Thrasher of Thomaston, son, Jason Bridges of Thomaston, brother, Mike (Terri) Bridges of Thomaston, sister, Donna (Bill) Cochran of Perry, grandchildren, Logan Lee (Desiree) Thrasher, Lilly Paige Thrasher, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from Faith Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church.
