Mr. James "Gene" Eugene Rowell, age 61, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Harborview Nursing Home.

Mr. Rowell was born on July 5, 1962, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late James Cecil Rowell and the late Flossie Laverne Warren Rowell.  He worked at Quad Graphics.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelby Ursery, son, Coleman Rowell, sister, Lisa Fogarty, nephew, Justin Phillips, niece, Kathryn (Rodney) Ozley, great niece and nephew, Abby and Briceon Ozley, aunts, Joyce Warren, Vicky Moses, and Diane Taylor.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
