James "Jamie" Hayward Johnson, age 42, of Thomaston, died, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at his residence.

Jamie was born on May, 19, 1979, in Columbus, Georgia, to James Albert Yancey, and Irma Johnson Holcomb.  He was a member of  the First Baptist Church of Manchester.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Johnson of Thomaston, mother, Irma Holcomb (Scott) of Manchester, father, James Yancey of Talbotton, daughters, Alexis Yancey of Thomaston, Alexis Johnson of Thomaston, sons, Jacob Johnson of Thomaston, Landen Johnson of Thomaston, sisters, Allison Williams (Mark) of Woodbury, Anna (Chris) Williams of Woodbury, mother-in-law, Debra Johnson of Thomaston, nieces and nephews, Austin, Helen, Emily, Savanna (Aaron), and Christian.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family, to help with funeral expenses.
