Mr. James Davies Kennedy, age 79 of Thomaston, died Monday, November 21, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Kennedy was born on January 5, 1943, in Upson County, to the late William Sylvester Kennedy, and the late Mary Rogers Kennedy.  He worked many odd jobs and was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John William Kennedy, and sister, Rhunette Chapman.

Survivors include his daughters, Christy Kennedy, Rhonda Fortner, Kayla Harris all of Thomaston, and sister, Mary Baker of Thomaston.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
