Mr. James Lentford Maddox Sr. "Tomato Man", age 73, of Yatesville Ga, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Maddox was born on April 27, 1949, in Yatesville Ga, to the late William Charles Maddox and the late Dorothy Marie Tidwell Maddox. He worked for the Upson County Road Department for many years. Mr. Maddox enjoyed planting and working in his garden. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother William Charles Maddox Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lynn Maddox of Yatesville Ga; son, Mr. James "Jim" (Sherry) Maddox Jr. of Yatesville Ga; grandchildren, Lauren (John) Gahagan, Daniel (Saylar) Warford; and great grandchildren, Emily Gahagan, Kael Gahagan, and Ella Gahagan.

Celebration of life services are postponed to a later date due to weather concerns. A new date will be announced later.
