Mr. James David Shores age 69 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Shores was born on January 25, 1953, to the late Loghan Shores and the late Betty Shores. He was a mechanic and attended Twin Oaks Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his son, Chris Shores, and his sister, Laura Stevens.

Survivors include his daughter, Misty (Dustin) Teal, of Thomaston; brothers, Elgie Shores and Ross Shores; grandchildren, Stephanie (Zachary) Brantley, Brandon Shores, Alex Shores, Ashley Shores, Brittany Simpkins, Veronica (Zane) Williams, Amber Simpkins, Autumn Simpkins, Jacob Simpkins; as well as 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, from 10-11 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
