Ms. Jennifer Grier "Jenny" Messer age 50 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Friday September 2, 2022, at her residence.

Ms. Messer was born on June 13, 1972, in Thomaston to Rev. James Grier and the late Sandra Cagel Grier.  She was a member of Pine Mountain Holiness Church.  In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her sister, Joy Chambers.

Survivors include her father, Rev. James (Linda) Grier of Thomaston, daughter, Brittany (Ben) Pitts of Newnan, sisters, Doris (Venu) Kolluru, Nikki (Bobby) Palugod, nephews, Bodhi and Remi Kolluru, Austin and Alex Ellington of Thomaston, niece, Mila Palugod, stepbrother, Chris (Jennifer) Minchew, stepsister, Laura Minchew, grandchildren, Charlotte and Madison Pitts of Newnan.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
