Mr. Jerry Wayne Brown, age 80, of Thomaston, died Sunday, March 10, 2024, at his residence in Thomaston.

Mr. Brown was born on February 2, 1944, in Upson County, Georgia to the late Marvin Lee Brown, and the late Jewell Inez Brown.  He was self-employed as a painter.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his, brothers, Richard, Earl and Junior Brown, sisters, Geraldine Watson, Dorothy Buchanan, and Barbara Jean Lopez.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Bowden Brown of Thomaston, daughters, Stacey Michelle (Jeff Rowland) Brown of Byron, Kristina "Brooke" Brown of Thomaston, son Christopher (Johnel) Brown of Perry, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
